Who runs CleanerHub
CleanerHub is operated by Sachin Kafle, a Melbourne-based cleaning operator. The vetting and procurement process is informed by direct, hands-on commercial cleaning experience in Melbourne — not by someone who's only ever seen it from a sales desk.
The problem CleanerHub exists to solve is simple: cleaning procurement for small-to-medium businesses is broken. Either you call around and hope for the best, or a chain company wins your contract and immediately subcontracts the work to a local cleaner anyway. You pay for their marketing budget. The cleaner gets squeezed on rate. Nobody wins except the intermediary.
CleanerHub is a tender portal for commercial cleaning. Businesses post their requirements, vetted cleaners compete on scope and price, and you award the contract with full transparency. We manage the ongoing relationship so you have one accountable contact.
What "vetted" actually means
We use the word deliberately. Before any cleaner is placed on a contract through CleanerHub, we verify:
- Public liability insurance — minimum $10M, certificate of currency sighted
- National police check — current (within 3 years)
- Two trade references — called, not just names on a form
- ABN verified via the ABR
- Signed subcontractor agreement — scope, rate, payment terms, non-circumvention
- Working with Children Check — required for any childcare or school site
Where we operate
We focus on Melbourne and surrounding suburbs. We prioritise areas where we can be physically present for site walk-throughs and quality checks. If you're outside Melbourne metro and want to talk, reach out — we'll tell you honestly whether we can service your site well.
